Je n'en parle pas ici mais le yoga fait parti de mon quotidien depuis maintenant 2 ans. Comme toute bonne yogini, j'ai investi dans un bon tapis de yoga que j'emmène avec moi dans certains cours où le studio ne fournit pas de tapis, ou bien quand je souhaite utiliser mon propre tapis, pour des questions d'hygiène ou encore de qualité. Tous les tapis ne sont pas égaux et avec mes problèmes de genou (un ligament sectionné au genou droit et des ménisques abimés), j'ai besoin - entre autre - d'un bon amorti. Bref, qui dit transport dit sac, et jusque là, les sacs que j'ai trouvés étaient soit plutôt "ennuyeux" ou bien complètement hippie. Je me suis donc dit que j'allais faire mon sac moi-même.
Ce qu'il vous faut:
- 1m de tissu de 110cm de largeur (minimum)*
- 1,10m de ruban de coton assez épais
- 50cm de simili cuir ou tissu plus épais et résistant
- une fermeture éclair de 65cm de long
* 1m de tissu correspond à un sac pour un tapis épais (5mm). Pour des tapis plus fins, adapter la longueur de tissu.
1. Il faut commencer par plier le tissu en deux dans le sens de la largeur. Ça permet de doubler l'épaisseur du sac. D'ailleurs, plutôt que d'acheter 1m d'un même tissu, il est tout à fait possible d'acheter 2 fois 50cm de deux tissus différents...
2. Centrer la fermeture éclair sur la largeur du tissu. Retourner l'ouvrage et coudre à la machine. Répéter l'opération avec l'autre côté du tissu de façon à former un tube.
3. Sur les quelques centimètres restants de part et d'autre de la fermeture éclair, coudre du ruban de coton. Cette partie ne sera pas visible une fois le sac terminé et permet de coudre la bandoulière sur un tissu plus épais, ce qui évitera que le sac ne se déchire avec le poids du tapis.
4. Coudre la bandoulière (environ 1m de ruban, à ajouter selon votre taille) en superposant les extrémités sur les bouts de ruban déjà cousus. Coudre jusqu'a ce que le ruban commence à couvrir le début et la fin de la fermeture éclair. Ne pas hésiter à faire des points serrés et à dessiner une croix pour consolider la couture.
5. Découper les extrémités: 2 ronds d'environ 25cm de diamètre, retourner l'ouvrage et épingler les ronds avec les bords du tube déjà formé.
6. Coudre les ronds avec les deux épaisseurs de tissu. Répéter l'opération de l'autre côté.
7. Retourner l'ouvrage. C'est terminé!
Vous noterez que c'est tuto très basique. J'imagine que les pro de la couture auraient des astuces pour avoir un fini plus propre, notamment à l'intérieur, aux extrémités. Je ne vais pas vous mentir, je suis une couturière du dimanche. J'en veux pour preuve que c'est dimanche d'ailleurs.
